You can get them through www.autospeed.com

I found they were pretty good with both service and price.

Give them a ring and see what they can do. Greenstuffs for the front of my R33 GTS-t were about $240.

It only took a day or two to get them to my door.

:) Thanks guys...

Jay - I've seen them on Autospeed but wanted to use that as a last resort as my last internet transaction didn't go so smoothly (bloody post office :P - 2 and a half weeks from Melb!!).

I'm looking for a cheaper pad with low dust which won't wear the disc down too quickly. There are plans for light track work, but not for a while yet (few thingd to get out of the way first). I might look at DS3000's then.

How much do a set of Bendix Ultimates go for? How much dust do they give off (under heavy street braking)??

Thanks

IMHO, the ultimates are fine for track work - mine get used > once a month. Dusty as hell for street driving.

Also, I think any good pad will eat the discs - as the whole system is working at a higher level. I have my discs machined pretty much every time I change pad ~every 3 months - I'm a very heavy user of pads at track days.

Not sure of price, but they are around the cheapest. They are not the best, premium, you beaut pads, but they are a solid, performance option and cheap to replace.

"any good pad will eat the discs - as the whole system is working at a higher level. "

Agreed...

I'm coming up to my 100,000km svc. in the next 12 mths, and I'm thinking of waiting until then to go for something with more bite, and upgrading to maybe slotted rotors. The funds should be flowing a little better then...

Do the Ultimates or Greens let off more dust...And what's the noise like with Ultimates?

I've run both, I found greenstuff to be squeally, and ultimates to be dusty. I much prefer the dust. I also got significant fade on the track with greenstuff (fine on the road tho).

DBA are putting together larger, slotted rotors for R33. I think that slotted rotors will wear the pads even more quickly though.

hey 46n2, good link. It says

"

bzzzzt... WRONG!

Whatever you're looking for.... It ain't where you seem to think it is!

bueller.......................... bueller........................ bueller..............................

:bahaha: :bahaha: :bahaha: :bahaha: :bahaha:

I've had greenstuffs on the front of mine for about 16 months now and not once have they made a noise.

Actually, on the packet for them it actually says that they shouldn't make any noise, and if they do, take them out and send them back and they will replace them !!!

Did you put the shims in???

As for dust, they only create about 15-20% of the dust that the standard pads did.

michael talk to brakedistributors on the gold coast about the rotors. www.brakedistributors.com.au (trevor) i got my pads and rotors from him for the r32 brake upgrade. very good prices, tell him the guy who's doing the r32 brake upgrade from the skyline club sent you. 12455 should have his phone number.

slip, which pads did you go for?

surreal, I've got 2 quotes so far for greens, and Autobarn came up $30 - $40 cheaper. However they haven't got a listing for 32's specifically. They've got listings for 31's, and GTS' and GTR's up to 91? Nothing changed in 32's brakes after 91 - did it? Should the pads marked for GTS fit my GTS-T?
