Hey I need new tyres and my camber is out so the tyres are wearing massively on the inside shoulder, where does everyone go to get their tyres replaced and get alignments done (SOR). I have just been to tyre power in canningvale on bannister road and they said that they get SAU people in there all the time.

They also gave me pricesas follows:

235/40 R18

Silverstone EVO8 $185

Federal $199

TOYO TPG $264

and the wheel alignment front/rear for $49

I wont been needing toyo tyres because I dont race my skyline or drift etc. Something a little cheaper for me, has anyone tried those EVO8s or does anyone know if they are good tyres? Yes I hammer my car occasionally, it's a skyline who wouldnt.

Any help is appreciated and I couldnt find anything in seach so if there is a page with a list of places where SAU members go then let me know, didnt see any tyre places there.

The guys said the EVO8's a pretty damn grippy for cheaper tyres, the made of the silicone stuff or something.

also try goodyears F1 cos my mate got a pretty good deal but apparently very noisey but looks nice....

I am also in the same predicament with my toyo trampio tpgs wearing on the inside shoulder (was in busselton yesterday and noticed that I could see the radial - not good!!)

I'm probably going to go for the trampios again, these have lasted me around 18 months or thereabouts and I've had no real problems with them.

You may want to invest in a camber kit to fix this problem once and for all. I'm going to, and the cost is something like $130 for the rear and $160 for the front (check with wilkinsons).

Paul @ tyrepower in cannington is a great guy to deal with.

anyone know or have connections with anyone who does Toyo? im looking at some t1-r Proxes in 255/40/17.

i know of tyrepower at myaree sell them, but im trying to stay away from them (bad prevous experince) they sell them for $340 each

I think Tyrepower are the distributors for Toyo, perhaps try Canning Vale (just off Bannister Rd) the guy that owns the shop there used to be the WA manager for Toyo, and loves the T1R (admittedly they seem to be a great tyre, the T1S certainly was pretty good)
