Exhaust Question

Hey is the silencer on a exhaust that ugly restrictor thing that you see if you look inside the cannon?? There ugly man and ive seen a few exhausts with them. Are they removable??

I had a silencer on mine but i took it off most should be able to screw off but with mine it had been there for some time and the nut just broke so i cant put it back on...

It depends what you mean. If you're looking at a cannon a silencer is just a metal round disc the same diameter as the exhaust with a hole in the middle. It usually stays at the very end of the muffler tip held in with a nut.

If you're talking about INSIDE the tip then no that's the muffler itself.

to get mine off i had to drill the barstard out took bloody ages. It was like realy stuck in there... i think some of em come off with the little bolt... and some of them come off with the ol crowbar

most cats come with a silencer inside of them....they to come out with the crowbar

haha, yep.

mine was like that.

i just gave it back to the exhaust place to remove it

yeah it was all brand new. was wierd though because all the specs i read about it the kit mentioned the "easy to remove bolt/silencer"
