he guys has any wired up an after market tacho to a rb20det yet, im fitting one to my conversion in my 66 gt.

i have started chekin for signals for the tacho ,some say pin 7 on the ecu but that is a ground signal collector for the tacho.

does any one out there no where to pick the signal from or even the wire trace colours?

any help much appreciated

Well the coil packs im pretty sure use negative switching to fire the spark.Which would give you a -ve pulse. I have not seen how the original tacho is wired in, but I would nearly be willing to put money on that your going to have to use a -ve pulse.
