That sucks Tommy. It's your tyres though. I personally love the rain and was having a great time yesterday with the wet roads. My front torque split guage peaked at 42.1% - that's the highest I've ever seen it go! I must've been spinning all four for it to resort to that.

I've got 16" protenza's III on stock rims.. they're good 90% of the time in the wet... however give them any stick in 2nd you'll be having fun up the road.. also going around an off camber roundabout in 2nd.. they decided to let go.. combine with a LSD and they both started spinning.. alright though.. just back off and it's snaps back..

personally I need some wider tyres.. but I think the protenza's are alright..

I just don't understand people who skimp on tyres :)

They're the ONLY thing sticking your ass to the asphalt and saving your ass... I'd even say that it's the most important thing on your car.... and yet there are still people riding around on Falken Ziex tyres :) I think the solid plastic tyres on my model cars give more grip than those useless things :(

And if you think that "oh but it won't be as much fun because I won't be able to get the ass out with sticky tyres, that's absolute craaaaaaap. Of course you can still induce power oversteer. But in any case, once you realise just how much HARDER you can launch, and how much FASTER you can corner with sticky tyres, you'll soon forget about stupid sideways driving ;)

This is true.

I admit i don't have great tyres but i drive like a granny in the wet. I would rather drift in the dry(if i had the power).
