Hi Guys or Ladies.

Just wondering if you guys could shed any light on the remote control drift car scene.

First of all there are a few clips floating around, and I must tell you they look awsome, with a bit of honing on the skills. What I want to know is, are they drifting these things out of the box or have they upgraded the motors and so forth.

They are the electric ones not nitro, Aparantly the nitro ones don't last very long on full throttle.

The manufacurer I am refering to is Yokomo. ( model - Eg. BLITZ ER34 D1 Spec).

Secondly, can you readily buy shells for these Eg. r32, rx7 etc.

Thirdly, what sort of prices do they fetch in Japan?

Here is a link to a site with them:

There are a 4 clips you can download, check them out.

I am trying to research these localy, but any help would be apppreciated.

Yes, thank you Adam.

I have seen the rx7VII in a shop in Melbourne. I f you read over my question, I ask if these drift like on the videos out of the box, how much they are in japan and if you can buy all differant shells already kitted up.

I have seen various assorted shells but they are bare, and I am sure the average Jo hobby place down the road would not stock D1 sticker kits.
