Abo Bob
Look in the group buy section (it's getting a bit old but look hard) for the group buy on shift kits for the autos. There is quite a bit of info in there. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/87001-auto-boxes/#findComment-1571707 Share on other sites

predator
I've taken my auto on the racetrack and things a couple of times, and its still running ok still.. but true, i'm not concerned about the longterm longetivity. Personally i wouldn't worry about the fancy shift kits, etc until you have over 180rwkw or so. The stock auto isn't too bad, and shouldn't pack it in that easily if that is your concern. But there are improvements that can surely be made... If you spend a bit of money and go all the way.. there are even separate programmable auto transmission controllers that are compatible with the R32/R33 gearboxes. Just not cheap at around $1000. someonestolecc
Shift kit for driving and holding gears etc. Oil cooler for the box for longevity. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/87001-auto-boxes/#findComment-1571969 Share on other sites
Chase-u
Mike at MV AUTOMATICS (1 Stirling Rd Blackwood SA 5051 (08) 8370 0430, if you want to stay with auto and have a spare $2600, will be able to make a box bulletproof up to and over 300rwkw, just a thought... Wink
Anything over 160-170rwkw and I'd invest in an aftermarket transmission cooler. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/87001-auto-boxes/#findComment-1576016 Share on other sites
