Hello

Got a small problem that i need to get fixed pretty quick as i am swapping my car.

Coil/coilpack (whichever it is) loom needs replacing. Pulled it all apart the other day and the wires to the coils are stiff as a board which is causing it to drop 1-2 cylinders due to poor contact/bad circuit. Just wondering if anyone has a replacement set in good condition, if not where would be the best and quickest place to get a set? Any help would be great, either e-mail me or SMS on 0410969695.

your best bet would be at your local import wreckers. They should have a loom there and also some coilpacks.

Also coilpacks arent cheap so just try and clean you old ones if you can. I used metho and a cotton tip to clean mine.

anyone got a price on CA18 coils with loom?

you would be looking at around $350 all up with loom ^^^^

i had 2 coils go on me and they cost me $80 each to replace 2nd hand. and new ones were going to cost me $240 each.

A reminder people.........CA18det Coilpacks are the same as cefiro/laurel RB20det coilpacks. (R32 plugs are different)

i will have a spare coil pack set and loom, from a cefiro rb20det, one of them went on me - so you get 5 rb20det and 1 ca18det coils with loom working well - i might be going splitfires ??

$85 a coil or $500 a set with loom. not super keen on selling as its always good to have spare - hence the 2nd hand asking rrp.

yeah, i have 6 spare coil packs and the loom too off my ceffy rb20turbs... i up graded to gtr. im in sydney, if you want them let us know...
