i was gonna say, one of the biggest issues i have with it is the indicator location, plus the size of the side intakes are too small imo.

anyone know which kit this is?

probably something obvious, but i cbf looking atm haha

4 spoke rims.

Seriously considering re-drilling GTST disks to run 4 stud hubs JUST to run 4 spoke wheels

just swap my cefiro 4 stud hubs for yours? :P

u wont fit 15' rims on gtst brakes, fronts will with a spacer

32 or 33?

32 GTST Brakes will fit under 15"s.

The rears are fine, the fronts possibly requiring it a spacer.

More to do with where the spoke meets the lip of the rim - sometimes clashes with caliper.

If its 33 brakes, dunno about the fronts.

yea whoops may have been thinking of 14's

hey funky, whats the go with the ceffy is it;

a) running

b) in the shop

c) sold

?

rewiring the ignition wiring. worked out it was missing like a kent cos 3 coilpacks were munted.

picked up a full set of 4 CA18 coilpacks for $80 from a bloke who owned a Datto 1200 ute and pulled 3 of em out and about to chuck em in. While I was at it decided to revarnish and wrap the coilpacks so they last a bit longer. Gotta go to South Dandy and pick up the coil winding varnish and heatproof insulation tape though. Maybe on the weekend or something. Also pulled apart the wiring loom and redoing it. So once all that is put together, all back in the car and should run like new ;)

Then off to the workshop to get a roady, then advertising for sale

While it was parked outside my house (granted for 2 months straight) some kent's tried to jam a key in to force the lock and snapped the key off inside it. Luckily I got central locking alarm on it, so don't have to use a key to get into it. Still... shit of a job trying to fish a key blade out of a barrel, might have to take the door apart to pull the barrel out.

ah good to see there's progression, whats this coil winding varnish? will you be doing the coil pack loom with thicker wires for a possible better spark or are you rewiring the ignitor?

i used to spot it every time i came home so being not out the front made me think you sold it, but thats not far off anyway.

dam that stucks, maybe i shud get my alarm working... if you cant get it out a lock smith should be able to get it out.

i'll assure you that it wasn't me trying to see if the cefiro keys work the same :(

yes, they are basically slight better then s13 sr20det brakes

half the time coilpacks fail is cos the insulation flakes off or chips when changing spark plugs. When winding transformers we use this varnish that insulates the coil and is high temp resistant, which works well in an engine. basically you clean the coipack with methanol and then recoat with the varnish. works a treat. I'll have heaps leftover if you wanna grab some and do yours.

yeah woulda been amatures for sho, cos everyone who owns one knows about the door unlock button on the door that works even when the car is turned off :woot:
