Rocker Cover To Plenum Breather

hey guys just wondering if the little valve thing that is on the plenum that has a pipe going to the inlet rocker cover (breather pipe) if i take this little valve out and just bung up the hole and do sumthin with the hose will this effect anything like idle and things....im getting my 32 tuned (power fc) in 2 weeks will they have a problem tuning it with this bunged up.

bought it from ebay....a guy named jappartsspecialists.com if you go to his website and email him about one he can get em hey, only took him 2 weeks to find mine, cost me $1000 without a hand controller, but then bought a secondhand controller of a guy on nissansilvia.com for $160

was going to get microtech byt rather pfc.

as for your prob, it is only a line for a breather so i dont see why it would make a difference if you bung it up.

but i could be wrong

It's a PCV valve. It allows the engine to suck in and burn oily crankcase gases.

The authorities don't like it if the PCV system is tampered with, but as long as you make sure it remains a closed system (ie no venting to atmosphere) then you should be right.

is there any performance gain from doing this...will it help with detonation at all?

If you're concerned about blow by causing problems, then install a catch can so the crank gases are cleaned up before they are combusted.
