Gcg 450hp Turbo R33 Gtst

hi,

i am looking to purchase a gcg 450hp hi flow turbo for my r33 gtst, does any one have this on there car now? any info would help.

just mainly wanting to know how quick it spools up and how many rwkw they are making? and any probles they might have had?

There's a heap of threads on this upgrade mate. Have a look in the RB25 turbo upgrade thread at the top of the forced induction forum and do a search...you should find a heap of info

To answer your question, hi-flow's are generally just as responsive as a std turbo, so it should start making boost from around 2700-2900rpm. Most people get around 225-240rwkw with the usual supporting mods, but I've heard of instances where they've made up to 260rwkw with cams (SydneyKid's 34 for example).
