Annoying Reversing Beeper!

I have an R32 auto which has a really annoying beeper that goes off when the car is in reverse. Can anyone tell me where abouts it is situated and how hard it is to get rid of it???

I got that aswell in my er34 it is useless isnt it meant to alert bystanders that you are in reverse but it can only be heard inside..

I don't think i want to stab a $900 pair of splits so i won't stab the speakers!!! Anyway it doesn't come from the speakers it sounds like its somewhere in the dash. And yeah its pretty useless as it can only be heard in the car! Anyone else with an R32 auto on here that has had the same thing??

I went hunting for this little sucker, and ripped out the headligh beeper warning by accident, now i keep leving my headlights on.

annoying little bugger isn't it. Mine didn't 'appear' until about 3 months are getting and driving it, strange.

Does anyone else have the little 'tinker-bell' sounding speed alarm..? thats a crack up! starts at about 105k, but over 110 and it starts croaking and making sounds like a cats eating it..

My s13 has the same thing. I'm used to it. Sometimes it's good because my short shifter loves to pop out of gear, and I know it's in gear if the thing is beeping. If you wanna get rid of it, just cut the wires.

Don't just cut the wires, as that is what probably supplies your reversing lights with power.

I meant cut the speaker off. Don't be going snip snip on every wire you see. :lol:
