you wouldn't have any bonus in that case and your speeding ticket will not help you a great deal. your only option would most likely be to buy the car under your mums name and be on her policy again. it'll end up being the cheapest that way.

otherwise try just cars. they'll be the only ones that'll talk to you pretty much.

here's a list of some insurance companies to try

ps. did i mention how much i hate them?

Out of interest which one of the lads do you know ? PM me if you'd rather ...

To answer your question, every company can do it ... the real question is will your employer allow you to do it. The product works on the concept of salary sacrificing but is certainly much more than that.

There is a misconception that salary sacrificing means FBT reporting to be done by the employer = time & money on their part.

With ProsperCar this is certainly not the case and there is basically 0 % admin required from an employer’s perspective. This is the main hurdle that employers have an issue with (and one that there is really no issue with in the first place :() When employers find out it's really just as simple as them splitting an employee's pay by setup of a direct debit, which once setup remains constant throughout the term, most just ask what they have to do in order to get it going.

We usually find that once one employee is set up, most of a company's HR / Payroll will follow, as well as other employee's. Main reason being once they see how it works, how simple it is and how much they could be saving, they can't wait.

It is really so much more effective than anything else out there, be it due to the insurance or the ease of having all costs of running your car combined in one payment or the savings you receive on all those costs you'd usually spend in any case to run a car due to the way in which it's packaged with your salary.

I show people figures each day to run a car entirely which they have trouble comprehending. When I informed a client today he'd be looking at approx $1,300 for insurance on a car a little over $70k ... his first question was if I was talking on a monthly basis :(

I can't help but feel I'm ranting :D I'm out -

... before I forget, if anyone has a direct query they'd rather have answered personally --->

James @ Prosperion

nite all ..

    • Well, your RB20 ECU loom won't have wires for the boost solenoid, that boost sensor, and possibly one or two other things. There could be differences in seemingly random things like the charcoal canister purge solenoid, because the 25DET has to handle boost in the vacuum system and the 20DE does not. I don't know - I haven't looked. It is very likely that all the most important things are same-same, being the main sensors like AFM, CAS, etc, and the injectors and ignition. Not that you'll need the AFM for the Haltech anyway. I would suggest that you would seriously want to sit down with the pinouts for both ECUs and just go through them and highlight green what is the same, orange what is different/missing, and make a plan from there. It's not going to be difficult. It will either be the same or need to be fixed.
    • yeaaa that's why I haven't done any wiring to the stock ecu harness because I have the haltech, but then that leads me to the other question of "is the pnp harness really plug and play?" or would I have to still switch some pins/wires over because the pnp is for the rb25det neo harness, and not for the rb20de neo harness. was really hoping to find something to spoon feed me since so many people have done rb20neo + t conversions, but man this is rough.
    • Temu raptor, lol. At least the owner isn't your typical ranger danger lot
    • They definately are coming back around, so many GTRs coming through again with them.
    • Besides which. If you have a Haltech waiting - don't waste your time and effort and money trying to get the boost sensor. Just f**k the stock ECU off and put the Haltech in. Then you won't need the boost sensor.
