all im saying is there will be ways around it. no need to take it to heart, buddy. youre right the laws are a bit more stern over here, but they sure arent enforced that much. guess the cops either have better things to do than get in a huff over the direction someones air vent is facing. or, like you said, they dont have a clue. my uncle has a fully complianced 28 ford tudor, a fibreglass kit car, with a 351 that has NOTHING covering ANY part of the engine. not a glance from the cops. like im saying, there are ways around it, if you dont just just go "oh well. theyve got me there".

lets try not to get in a bitch fight about it now, brazen.

haha yeah but i get enough crap about my car from the missus lol. chhers mate. you made me think twice about rushing into something. cheers brazen appreciate it.

no-one has any other clues on where to go for an after-market stag bonnet?

had a chat with DMD - the guys are doing me a nismo kit. Don said that Fibreglass and steel are an ok mix, but sitting above a hot engine they may not make for the best combination, so a vent cut and fit with glass on a stock steel bonnet may not be the best combination. ive done some glassing for a crew named P.H.A.T engines, but no bonnets. would it take the heat? anyone know?
