Should You Use Pulp For A Non-turbo R34?

My mate just bought a R34 non-turbo (2.5L in line 6 cylinder)

makes 142kW@6400rpm, 231Nm@4800rpm.

I was wondering whether it is supposed to run on 91 octane fuel (regular unleaded) or 95 octane (premium) or whether it would be worth using BP Ultimate or Shell Optimax (98 octane).

He has been running it on regular 91 octane so far.

I would use 98 Octane it is a performance car. Also depends how much he loves his car i always gave my 1st car Ultimate which was a Liberty GX. It also keeps the engine happy

any other viewpoints? what does everyone else here use?

does Nissan actually quote a certain reccomended fuel quality for this engine? This is what I am particularly interested in.

How about trying the naturally aspirated forum, because, like, they drive N/A cars.

YES he should be using 98-RON premium

why? do a search, there have been about 5 threads in the last 2 weeks on petrol
