air con...

my air con isn't working too good on hotter days. hardly cool air at all.

any1 have any ideas about what i should have done to it and who may be able to do it?

any suggestions appreciated.

maybe its out of gas or there might be a leak, just pray if its a leak that its from the engine bay somewhere, cause otherwise it'll be underneath the dash and that requires taking out the dash which is a nightmare

could be low gas, could be faulty ac pressure switch, could be ****ed compressor, snapped belt, faulty climate control head switch, even a broken wire between any of them. im in the trade, and ive noticed on hotter days it takes a lot longer to cool the air then on semi hot days. try having fan speed on 3, hold rpm to over 2,200 and see how you go. sounds silly, but trust me, it works.

Ive found mine is a little intermittent at times too. I thought it needed a re gas after I got my car back from having the motor out. Then suddenly the next day it was ice cold again.

It does seem to struggle on extra hot days though, so maybe its a common ailment. By the looks of the screen on mine I'd say nissan didnt do the best job in the first place of manufacturing them.
