Removing Stickers From Body Work

Hi

I want to remove the stickers from the side of the car I have just bought. Its a custom pearl white with tribal stickers down the side. Now these stickers have only been on the car for a few months during winter. I went to remove them and removed a small 15cm long test section. I cleaned the area but could still see the outline of the original sticker. Is there a way around this like a cut and polish or am I going to have to respray????

Any help would be appreciated.

Usually a polish with a light grade cutting paste will remove the sticker edge marks in the paint. Id try that before a respray.
