My car is producing a rotten egg smell can anyone help me

i got a 3" highflow cat put in

also got my end muffler replaced with a new one and taken out the second muffler,

and i have that smell aswell, occasionally its not all the time

but it does stink pretty bad , and i always thought it was the fuel

but must be the highflow and fuel .

But anyway wouldnt worry about it, just buy some air fresheners

check that there isn't anything wrong with your battery, as this can also produce a rotten egg smell. I had that smell when i first bought my car, and they originally suspected that it was my cat!!!

I've heard around the place that optimax has a high sulphur content so that may be it.

The cat, as others have said is also suspect.

aparently an apexi safc can put off a oddor if its not hooked up right

The smell is from the inside and outside happens occasionally not all the time..

In all seriousness, I once gutted my cat on my V8ss, and it stank like sulphur, best to unbolt yours and see if the stuffing falls out?

have a look at your lower gearstick boot. they usually all split after a time and when mine did i'd occasionally get a putrid smell in the cabin. glued it up with some inner tube and it went away. was truly foul though.
