Extractors For Rb25de

Hi all,

I've decided to put on some extractors for my R33.

I've been to an exhaust place where they installed my extractors + high flow cat + 2.5" exhaust.

When they quoted me, they said they can install 2.5" Genie extractors.

The quote was:

the Genie extractors have mandrel bends

the primary pipes are 1 5/8''

long secondary 2 1/4'' pipes

and finish in 2 1/2'' with a 2 bolt flat flange

colour Gold

I was disappointed to see the lack of power increase after the installation. The extractors were not gold, in fact, it was blue. I believe the extractors were custom made, second hand.

It would be good if you guys could share with everyone, what type of extractors you have in your car. Photos would be awesome.

How much U pay for ur extractors.

i haven't found out the rough estimated cost and it's hard for me to go out anyway because im stil on l's.

I paid roughly 450 bucks for the "Genie" extractors + 80 bucks labour.

I'm just trying to find out if these are even REAL extractors... check out the photo.

there's been discussion about this before somewhere; i think you can get some Coby extractors from NZ for about 350 delivered. i know it's under 400. but don't quote me on the price.

at a guess i would say they are genie extractors for an rb30e engine with flanges replaced to suit your engine .

I've been quoted roughly 500 for lucas extractors for my rb20de, bloke said there from rb30 and would suit when i upgrade to rb25de
