There are no R32GTR Bilsteins left.

Bilsteins are attempting to get an airfreight shipment during the next 3 weeks.

However there will be only limited numbers in the shipment.

So place your orders now to avoid dissapointment.

 cheers :)

It is possible if i can but the shocks now(if they get more stock), then later on down the track when i have more money i can buy the rest of the gear?

Yep, no problems, that can be done.

As an alternative, some guys have a left a deposit ($400) and Jamex puts their shocks aside until they pay for the rest.

:whistling: cheers :P

oh i will do that, do you know if there will be any more before the 5 months? my rear left shock is more like a pogo stick then anything.

after realising i read you post wrong, i will be depositing money for them.

PM replied to.

Bilstein received a small airfreight shipment of R32GTR Bilsteins today.

This Group Buy is re-opened.

 cheers

Whats a recommended package to buy?

Would it be shocks, springs and stablisers? What about Polyulethane(sp?) or Nolethane(sp?) bushes, are they included with any of it?

cheers

I have included everything that I think is necessary in the list of parts.

I haven't included anything that I think is unnecessary.

The shocks have been selected so that their valving matches the spring and stabiliser bar rates.

The suggested alignment settings are included, to suit the parts used.

The bushes are necessary to achieve those recommendations (there are no standard adjusters, except small rear camber).

PM me for further details.

 cheers :D

Anyone got pics of the rear strut brace?

Yellow ends, with polished alloy rod, adjusting nuts at each end of the rod where it bolts to the ends.

 cheers :P

Good news and bad news.

The bad news is the small airfreight shipment of rear shocks that Bilstein received in July has sold out.

The good news is there are 20 (10 pairs) of rear R32GTR shocks arriving early September via seafreight.

The bad news is there is ZERO stock at Bilstein in Germany and no production is currently scheduled this side of Xmas.

The good news is there are an equal number of fronts in stock.

So, if you want a set I strongly suggest that you get in now.

 cheers :)

G'day Gary....

I see the R33GTR race setup, nice work!!! and great laps times!

will there be an R32 GTR race package also? and will it be any different without the shocks? i.e. is it the dampers and springs only that are different?

The stabilser bar rates are different, the camber and toe settings are, of course, different and the rear sub frame alignment settings are different also.

The R32GTR shocks and springs will be quite a while, they haven't even made a prototype yet.

cheers

PS; PM me if you like, I will let you know what the kit will be otherwise.

Have you gone any further with this kit. I was at Sandown saturday and the car was very unstable all around the track. Shocks must be on the way out. Has there been any progress with the race setup shock valving as I am in desperate need of some shocks and srings. (Modified my group buy whiteline springs to fit my teins).

I noticed in your track suspension setup replies to other people you recommend a 24mm front swaybar but supplied me a 22mm. Was there any reason for this. I only just realised.

Whiteline are currently changing their high end shock and spring supplier, so no news on a circuit kit from them.

In the interim I have tested quite a few different valving setups with the Bilsteins for circuit work. I used a coil over conversion kit with Eibach coil springs. They work very well with "R" type tyres or full slicks (different rates used of course).

If I remember rightly, the 22mm bar was supplied because you had Teins with rediculously high spring rates.

What rear bar do you have?

PM me for more details

 cheers

The bushes and strut bar still havnet arrived. I sent you a couple of PMs but no response. Can you let me know when i should expect the kit to arrive? (order was placed on the 5th).

PM resent.

:) cheers :)

PM resent.

Thanks SK,

The kit arrived today. Two questions tho;

- Do the rear upper arm suspension bushes require a press for removal/installation? (Or can i do it myself)

- Rougly how many hours work so you think it would taker a shop to fit all four bushes? (I might just get the aligner to do it)

Cheers.

Kot
