i so regret having missed out on this dyno day.

had a family gathering i had to go to. judging by the photos and everybody's comments in this thread, i shoulda pulled a sickie on the family gathering and gone along to the dyno day to be with my *preferred* family!

nice work will and the boys at boostworx! nice photos too ;)

Come on you R33 Girls... Post your dyno sheets. :)

Yeah! I want to see what torque figures you guys where making out of the RB25's for comparison with my RB20

I'll post mine when i have it on me and a scanner is near by......besides i only got 1 run cos it was leaning out over 5,500, God Damn. I think everyone was having some form of issues on the day!!!!!!

Yeah, allot of people where down on power from what I saw. I think, typically, Boostworx dyno is down a bit compared to others. The dyno room doesn't get good airflow, so the air your car is sucking in isn't the most productive for power, especially on a dyno day where you get lots of cars in and out

Yeah i would agree chris, it was pretty muggy in the workshop compared to outside, my car was also slightly down on power to what it usually runs.

Even though the runs where performed in shootout mode, that cannot factor in the lack of oxygen in the air, its only a air temp correction, so I wasn't surprised that most where down a bit. Its all relative though, as we all ran on the same day in the same conditions, on the same dyno etc

Nice run of yours, bit of a hard act for me to follow straight up afterwards with the ol RB20

Keep in mind the torque figures displayed on a chassis dyno are only comparable if the gear they were run in and the diff ratio are identical.

I'm not 100% sure of the gear and diff ratio differences (if any) between R33 and R32s.

I had runs done in 2nd and 3rd gear, and obviously the ones in 2nd gear showed higher torque figures, due to greater torque multiplication.

I think comparing R32/33 runs should be pretty similar, I think there are very minor differances between the two in 4th gear

Chops, can you post your dyno run? I'll do the calcs to compensate for your diff ratio, just so I can compare how the N/A 5.7ltr looks against an rb30det.
