Not sure mate but it wouldnt surprise me if they did. Although you would have to be very unlucky to crack your bar...... let me refrase that, im sure damage to cars would be pretty uncomon as otherwise they would use something even more flexible and soft than witches hats..

I am keen if I can score some time off work.

on this topic I've done Aaron Macgil day and he was great. also did a day with Daryl Cullen (who also does the Peter Finlay days) and he was excellent too. Both guys taught me a lot about my driving, and particularly about Oran Park GP track too.

i did this day a few weeks ago, had an absolute ball...and i think for my first time out on the track they taught me well without bombarding me with information.

for the inexperianced driver this day suited me well!

Well did the level 1 course on wednesday. Was loads of fun and would recomend it for everyone. while only being basic stuff i still learnt heaps! I think everyone should be made to do the level 1 course (or something similar) before they are allowed to get there p plates.

Now looking forward to the level 3 course next week.... might go do the level 2 course as well.

good stuff, what did they cover? proper braking and turning lines? knowing what you are doing can make a hge difference to how you use the brakes :D

Yeah basically the just coverd emergency stopping. Talked to you about how to get the best from your brakes depending on the type, eg abs and non abs. Also wet the skid pan down and showed you how your stopping distances changed and also how to swerve around simulated problems ahead while staying in control etc.... Also talked alot about every day saftey stuff like your driving position, Stuff that i thought i knew all about but i still learnt alot

Looking forward to the level 3 when we hit the track so they can find me a bit of extra speed and some better technique. I was going to do some more performance mods to my car but decided it would be better to learn how to use what i have to its full potential first!!!!

The Findlay course is on often.

I'm happy to organise a group of SAUers if there is more interest in doing the course?

Yeah sounds good although i will have to save some money first, might also do the level 2 luff course first just to have the full set and then look into the finlay one. The level 2 luff course is the slid control part of their courses to so it looks like alot of fun, the gave us a demo of some of the stuff in the level 2 course at the end of the level 1 day... Was a big tease.
