what a waste of time that car would be! a normal viper is so unbalanced it would wheel spin and understeer without 2 much trouble!

Having that car would be like being stuck on an tropical island with 100 supermodels but u were gay!!

Well, look how the viper went in nations cup last year - unlike both the porsche and the ferrari it is not a factory race special, but still managed to finish season in third. In fact, they reakon they ran the car for the season for under 250k - dirt cheap to be so competitive in top level racing. Makes me think they're not duds.

I'd take that car instead of the tropical island.

I'll have to have a look i remember reading a car somewhere in the 8-9sec had a mph of 152mph.

No mate 152mph is quicker than TRY09's!

A 152mph TS shows the car is good for 8's with slicks & a good 60ft.

Now take another look @ how "streetable" this car is! Sure the power is not exactly "streetable" but the car isn't stripped & radically altered from factory. At 3500lbs it's no stripped out "race car with a set of plates".

Did anybody else notice Benjamin Treynor's (the owner) quote, "the rear wheels started spinning on the dyno drum during this pull at 4900 RPM, which is why the torque dips at that point. I don't know how much power it actually makes, only that it's over 1000 RWHP". Benjamin Treynor can be found on various US based car forums (treynor), quite a decent guy.

I love my Skylines but I'm not so one eyed that I can't appreciate a serious bit of gear like this Viper.
