SydneyKid,

Would you recommend anything different for a R33 GTR V-Spec? I understand the V- Spec suspension is stiffer to begin with. Would be looking for 98% road / 2% track use.

Thanks!

The V-Spec versus non V Spec diff is minor, 10 mm lower ride height and slightly stiffer springs/shocks. No big deal, the Group Buy KIt is better than both anyway.

 cheers :P

Hi SK,

what would you recommand if the car is used mainly on the road, but sees the track once in a while?

cheers

The full kit is the go.

The Group Buy kit was engineered (by me) to give a sporty ride for the street and at the same time suite the sorts of things that Skyline owners use their cars for (road drag and circuit). It a great all round kit. For example the R33GTST that won the NSW State Speed Event Championship in 2005 used basically this kit. It was driven from the north coast of NSW to Sydney for the events, raced and then driven the 400 k's home.

:P cheers :)

Noob question but, will this kit make my GTR's ride softer on the street because the HKS suspension I have now is very bumpy and I prefer a softer ride.

Yes

 cheers

What has it been costing everyone to have the one of the recommended shop do the total install, alignment, etc?

It varies, from $300 to around $500, but that one had some other issues that needed fixing at the same time.

:( cheers :ninja:
