Normally if you buy a proper 240kph/300/320 speedo (not just changing the face over to the one with more numbers on it) then you don't need to calibrate it. Just plug and play.

It may be out by 5-10% depending on ur car transmission, diff ratio, gear ratios, etc.. but I personally won't be too bothered about it. I just know with my nismo 300kph one, I'm only doing 91km/h actual speed when i'm doing 100km/h according to the speedo. Can be tested on a dyno or any of the roadside speed check displays.

all you dudes out there who have over 200kph speedos, where did you get them recalibrated? can any1 recommend a place?

p.s its along time since i've posted on SDU!

Depends what type it is.

If it is a mechanical type you are pretty much restriced to changing the drive gear for the speedo in the gearbox.

If it is electronic you can have it recalibrated any way you like.

haha wel jsut have to guess, if you dont want to spend too much money

remember 60 miles per hour = 100 kilometers per hour

ahhah it doesnt read correctly in either units :) probably because US spec is different, since its ment for USA instrument, oh well, i'll just have to hook up my HKS turbo timer to read speed.

I have the same problem with my Tomei 310 km/h speedo, reading progressively out. I didn't have the money to recalibrate it (Tisco told me it would be $250 just for them to hook up their equipment), I borrowed someone's GPS and made note of the speeds that way :)
