The vent hole MUST be in the first 3rd of the bonnet to extract hot air, the way air moves under the bonnet is kinda weird and if you place the vent near the rear it will do next to nothing. Just don't put it above the battery, plugs or air filter.

Idealy it should be just behind the radiator, most of the good vents actually go down behind the radiator to help draw the air out.

Yeah that vent is in the right place, as the air passes over the top of the vent then it causes a slight vacuum and drags the hot air through the vent.

The people who make the Series 2 bonnet are also planning on releasing a Series 1 version, give them a call and see when it will be ready.

See'ya:burnout:

Yep best thing to do if you like the carbon look is to give the bonnet a light rub down and apply some 2 pac clear over the upper side otherwise you could paint it the same colour as your car! ( have read some where that they don't like the sun too much because the shiny side is just a thin layer of gel coat (polished) so best to protect the bonnet before fitting)

MEGA

p.s R32 bonnets need a GTR bonnet catch to fit GTS-t,GTS-4,GTS!
