hey might be a silly question but If you purchase a car from interstate do you have to re-comply it in you own state? To get the number plates changed and stuff.

I would have thought ADR's are uniform right across the country. Aren't they federal legislation???

I did it recently from NSW -> QLD all i did was get a RWC/Safety Cert and took them with my receipt to Transport Department
