It will be a long story, and it's happening..I like to share the story with everyone and hopefully hear from you..

most of us all enjoy the power from our stock turbo, soon some of us start try to get every drop of juice from our stock turbo...rise the boost......need more......then will start to consider hiflow, bolt on upgrade or an after market path

I choose after market path..because I know that once I try the taste of power then I will not stop, and the after market path looks like way to go for me..

At the moment, my 95' R33 has Trust FMIC (600x276x76), Blitz Sus Pod, 3.5" Cat back exhaust, and PowerFC.

I like to have some power, don't mind a bit lag (well, got to pay some price), when I need the power...floor the gas!! Off boost in the traffic is fine for me..however I want this upgrade can last longer without thinking about upgrade soon...

After done some research, compare different turbos, and heaps phone call to those turbo shop, I decide TD06 seems an good idea; consider lots people in JP have good result from it (drag and drift, these two driving style are totally different, right?!), and JMS has good result use it......

but which one?

To cut the story short...I bought a TD06-25G 16cm^2

the 16cm^2 is bigger then 8, 10, 12^2 normally use in TD06-20g on 1800~2000 cc..and because near 500cc over's advantage of R33 I think the lag won't be too bad..well, we will know soon..

what else in my cart now? Nismo 550cc injectors, Q45 AFM (got the wire diagram and P-fc map for it), gaskit, Tomei R33 250L/H pump, manifold, wastegate, front pipe (one piece with dump pipe), HKS EVC and set of cam gears and ex-hicam and heavy clutch...did I miss anything?

I know it will be a fun project (or pain at neck?), and I willing to share with you, will let you know soon..

I have a td06-20g with a 16cm2 exhaust housing. It should be tuned in the next 4-5 weeks, currently sitting on the stock manifold and with a stock ecu. Makes 344hp @ 13psi, full boost by 4600rpm. I expect boost to come on quicker once the ecu is fitted, if it isnt much better I'll look into a tubular manifold. I'll let you know how I go, but I expect to make 360ish with the ecu and around 14psi.

yes, you are right, the rev still can go on and on..coz the dyno graph showed very health power curve..with good a/f mixture..

But the twin plate is a bitch at traffic..

Hehehe, when I first drove mine with the twin plate, it was straight into peak hour traffic. Anyone near me must have thought I was a farking nutbag or something- you know what I mean;)

But once you are used to them, you would never want to go back to single.

Yes,Steve ..and only twin will able to hold such savage boost..hahaha..

I am getting better for the clutch now..only stall three time drove to work this morning...and getting the ride feeling..I remember I laugh laud at buster when he just got on twin plate..well...now I know..

The car produce some sort of power which out of my expection..but all good..
