Panel Air Filters

Im thinking about going for a panel air filter but do you get the cool induction noise from these?? The pods suck i was told because they suck in hot air even cause probs when you box them. SO anyone have a panel air filter do they sound good??

You dont realy hear much with the panel filter. The pod sucking noise sounds realy gay / anoying after a while anyways i rekon. Get a panel filter

i have a k&n panel and it makes plenty of noise... but not enough to be an annoyance...

If you want noise with a panel, just rip the underlining in the lid off.

So this underlining if I take it off it wont stuff anything up will it?? So its just sound deadener and thats it??

If you want indicution noise, get a pod filter. Having said that, I think you've got your priorities wrong. You shouldn't be worrying about the induction noise, you really only want want two things for an airfilter arrangement: 1) filtration, and 2) air flow.

Both of those can be achieved (within reason) using the standard airbox arrangment and a good quality filter.

with just panel filter u wont hear very loud noise. one thing that gonna really amplify the sound is a fmic, it even amplifies your stock bov.
