yeah but he didn't put it on there - (the owner is a mechanic) he only recently put a timing belt on there. Paul said a sure sign of over 100 000km is the sticker..... and this sticker was put on in japan - not australia... could it be fake K's?

Makes sense that the water pump is changed as its the same process to change pump & belt, but depends on how cheap a job is done.

How can you tell if its a new pump? Mine was apparently new and then popped its seals after me driving it for about 1,000ks
