you know what i really would like to do ..... i would somehow like to buy my ZX off my folks ..... do a manual conversion on it ....and learn how to drift it ..... that car would make a mint drift car ..... it would be my version of a Racer ............... must find money first

She can't , well not full time.

We need her to do the washing , car cleaning , tyre changing , cooking for us 3 on the SA drifttrip. Hehehehe

Hmm , that would be expensive and prooly not worth the drama.

You can buy those in Japland with an RB20 engine in already ( Jash has one ).

Now that would be cool:D and no injector/wiring issues

Only if it was in a series 6 or better RX7.

In an RX4 or 3 then don't bother, it would take a lot to make it stop or handle.

its not just a matter of doing a manual conversion? needs whole new engine ......

but that car has sooo much potential and i doubt anyone else is going to realise it ..... and i just cant part with it ..... and i need a set of trainer wheels ..... but i know - parts are hard to find and expensive and its all too high maintenance ..... but i have a dream

nah plan is to take on a short term temp assignment that ends before i go to SA

Ken - its the Capella, all done up using huge ass brakes and it used to be daily driven by its owner who owns a whole bunch of other cars. thing is the owner got a couple of 11 sec runs in and the car has been sitting in the workshop for 3-4 months. its got a nice interior all retrimmed. i thought it would be cool to run around in.

its in Msia so thats around AUD8k

They do make cool drift cars but underbonnet temps , wiring and turbo issues make them to hard to maintain.

That blue 300zxTTDD I had was a good example of use it , abuse it and sell it..
