GTS-t VSPEC
Angel, Just cause there more prone to cracking, but for daily driving it should be fine. angel
When my breaks went wrong everyone assumed it was the wrong rotor, but it was right. They were not fitted correctly, and I believe as a result the calipers stuffed up. Nothing wrong with the calipers before rotors fitted. Very expensive mistake. Go straight to Paul from Tyrepower next time. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/8821-whoretown-wa/page/3998/#findComment-515039 Share on other sites
MrGTST
Question though... I have been thinking about it..... You want to get larger than average rotors.... I can see the benifts of the slots and k-paw technology but by oversizing the rotors what benefit are you actually getting by larger rotors without larger cailipers /pads ??? GTS-t VSPEC
Brett, More torque can be applied the further the caliper is away from the center, i.e. it slows you down faster:D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/8821-whoretown-wa/page/3998/#findComment-515052 Share on other sites

MrGTST
but if you dont increase the pad and caliper to match you cant dissipate the heat any faster than if the rotors was your average size... GTS-t VSPEC
Brett, the added rotor mass will dissipate the heat better, plus you don't need to apply as much force to slow down, so the calipers have longer to cool:D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/8821-whoretown-wa/page/3998/#findComment-515070 Share on other sites
