niz, speaking to my mate about hi-stalls for your auto....he just put a hi-stall in his semi-auto custom build tranny, datto. tim lots of people know him....he does all the work on my car at sik em wrex.... anyway his hi stall is set at 3800rpm and to get it higher you have to buy a new one.... the bad bit about this, is that its not high enough he prolly needs about 6000rpm with the huge slicks... anyway just a warning for if you do get one make sure its a high enough hi-stall for if you get mods and may need more spool etc etc...

Hi-stall's aren't much good unless your a serious drag racer, I wouldn't put one in a street car.

Fane - yeah i decided not to go down that path .... im going to be stuck with it for the lifetime of the car .... and its not a drag machine - i just wanna go down a couple of times to see what it can do ...... so yeah decided there was no point spending the money and getting that serious
