Got bashed up fell to the ground, the guy ran off and no****ingbody stopped to help.........

Drove to the Police station to report the incident, but the station was empty...............

HAd to dial the numbers and go through the options as the operator directed me to another police station in Freamantle. NO ****ING COP WHEN YOU NEED ONE!!!

al

I drove my hity car from work, I was brick paving, stuck in the righthand lane of the Mt Henry bridge...peekhour traffic and no chance to swing into left.........my car started to over heat when this dickhead in an old ute holden...no ****in wonder!!! started to terrorise me from behind. He had one of those big front roobars.....square massive ones from the 70's............

at one stage it looked like he wass sitting in my back seat.............then he got in between the sizers ( me and the car on my left) and another sizers ( me and th car on the left front)

one car length between me and the car on trhe right.....................almost caused an accident with 5 cars...................

Some people backed off as I tried to pull into an emergency lane.........

I'm thinking let the idiot go and I'll park the car letr itr cool down..............

But the idiot saw me parking...........he pulled over about 50m in front of me and got out......

I saw him walking and got out, and after that all I remember is seeing white and hitting the ground......my stupidity for getting out of the car......................

I don't know what he hit me with....I lost conc for about 3min just enough time for him to run off and me to get first part of the rego.......

Bad news Al :) .... my dad was almost involved in a similar thing last night at Bassendean Train Station .... except it wouldve been him hitting the guy ...... this guy that stunk of beer said my dad reversed into him .... but there were no marks on either cars and dad didnt feel it and reckons that he definately didnt back into him ....so this guy gets up in dads face n dad pushes him away ..... dad wanted to deck him.

    • Do you plan on using 98 or e85?
    • This should be pretty easy. 200rwkW is just about the max power out of an RB25 stock turbo. So, 12ish psi on a 2.5L. That boost limited mainly by the prospect of seeing the turbine in the cat after the smoke show. A steel wheeled equivalent would likely happily do ~220rwkW at something like 17 psi, where it would probably be bumping into the usual limits of such a sized turbo. These things have like a .48 rear. You will not need the 0.86 rear. The 0.64 will be fine. In fact, if you were looking at various mid-200rwkW options for RBs, most of them would be in a 0.64 rear. So, I think you will definitely want to be no bigger than that for a same sized but probably even more efficient (at making power) modern engine.
    • Change the subframe bushes, transforms the car.
    • For something a little more serious, Davinci Resolve is about the best there is for free video editors. No expiration dates or watermarks, completely free.
    • Well, it's taken me until the last week of 2024 to actually do something on the Skyline but I consider it a good head start to 2025's efforts! I managed to justify (to myself anyway...) my purchase of the lift table. It made taking the rear subframe out a lot easier than it would have been without anyway! Everything is out and stripped down ready for a clean then powdercoating.  She's pretty grubby under there but pretty good condition for a 38 year old Japanese tin bucket. 12 years of zero street time have obviously helped that... I need to decide which of the factory suspension arms I will keep and replace so I only get what I'm keeping powdercoated.  Baby steps but it's a start!
