What's got into Simon ??

I agree with troy , that thread was going nowhere ( bout the same as the Jun thread is heading.

People have to realise that bagging other tuning shops is a no no. Take it to PM if theres a beef.

Prank does not need a libel suit.

Yeah, I don't know what happend to Simon. I totally agree that most of it was uncalled for, but it looks like the Jun thread has calmed down a bit.

It doesn't put any of the tuning houses in a good light when they are bitching.

people will always heve there favourite shops and nothing that is said will change that.

I see we now have them all on here , AJ , Ivan , Steve , Lumpy.

All we need is Barry and Brett and that just about covers the imports

Cheers

Glad your enjoying it, is it close to you.

Didn't say I was enjoying it j/k.

Is interesting and also makes you realise that a lot of customers are there own worst enemy.;)

Especially when it comes to Subaru's. They want power without realising the effect on the gearbox etc.

I think it is good to have the tuners on-board, I just hope they can contribute something useful and get over the bickering.

See'ya:burnout:

Yea , maybe we could ask them for a *best bang for your 5K * on a GTST , a GTR and a Joe mobile:D

Interesting where there preferences lie and could save a lot of wasted phonecalls both for the customer and for themselves.

Cheers

Ken

    • That is the option code, not the VIN
    • Apologies if I sounded like a arse My point was that you will not be able to buy a rotisserie that suits your car, you get the rotisserie frame, and then fabricate parts to mount the rotisserie frame to the body The rotisserie side is easy, but the fabrication of the actual mounts is the tricky part, where to mount so you don't bend/twist the body, plus the geometry involved to get it to turn  If your capable at fabrication, and can work out where the C/L is in relation to the weight is so it actually can turn, you should be sweet I would love to see the progress on this just for the thought processes and fabrication
    • Type "M2" means it's a series 2. I would not be shocked to learn that the production changeover was somewhat lax and a late 12/95 production car actually got mostly series 2 parts with a bit of series 1 leftover. Post the VIN and it'll be easier to investigate.
    • Yes, well, mine were 31 years old last year when they finally got done. Started to leak a bit.
