Auto Gearbox Sensor

I have a problem with my gearbox were sometimes it stays in first or goes into nuetral i think after looking at the carman scan i think it is the speedsensor but i was wondering if i could try get a cheap second hand one just to see as i don't want to buy new if i don't have to.

Its a black sensor on the rear left of the box.

I have a whole r32 gtst auto box you can have for $20. alternatively if you just want one piece of it, you can have that piece for $20.not sure if you needed 32 though??
