R32 Dash - Ringing Noise

Someone help me!

im going nuts...

Any time the speedo goes over 110km/h it makes this Ding Dong! noise continually..

now i dont want any smart ass comments like 'you cant go over 110 anyway! because, my speedo is like 10 k's out for some reason.. and 120 on the dash is barely 110 in reality. And i also take it around the track often, so its real bad. im guessing its some kind of lame ass speed alert...

How can i fix it!!! someone help!

also, how can i change a blown light behind the speedo. the one towards the top left corner is gone.

Thats the 107km/h speed buzzer. Something to do with jap road laws apparently. I'm not sure where abouts it is in a Skyline but in the Silvias its just a little box behind the dash. Find it and disconnect it and the noise will stop.

Hahahaha,

You have to pull out your instrument cluster to replace the globe, im not to sure whats involved in a r32.

this question gets asked once every couple of weeks, do a search in general maintenance, or skylines area, and you can find out how to remove it.

yeah, box behind dash - there is a guide in the faq's/tech articles section i think

take it out, and test that you haven't taken the wrong box out, and then smash it with a hammer,
