If you wanted a GTST, wouldn't it be cheaper to just trade in your GTS and buy a GTST than try to do a turbo conversion on it? It's almost like the auto to manual conversion dilemma.

"Games don't affect people. If Pacman affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms munching on pills and listening to repetitive music."

My car wasn't a GT-T or a GT + turbo...it was art! :)

Seriosuly though, my GT + t would whoop my current stock R34 GTT, the power delivery of the high-compression was scary, I'm in the process of modding the GT-T, so it will be interesting to see if it actually gives me the same "fearing for my life" feel that I had while changing lanes in the GT + t

I did the bolt-on about 2 years ago, it was pretty economical back then....I'd probably reconsider now, especially as it made the car so attractive for thieves :)

Everything is stock except the 17inch rims i bought the car with.

Another question...

Its a stock GTS25 4 door, 5 speed auto, I didnt want anything overly fast because im still only 17. I figured it would be a good car to learn on. So what are some good mods to start with and slowly build up. Keep in mind I have a limited budget and a new P plater.

Can I get some good power out of an auto RB25DE?

Im thinking my first mod would be to stick in a k&n panel filter and an exhaust system one i got the cash. Sound good or shit?

By the way I havnt put in the turbo yet, comes later.

Thanks, ciaoz

You're a new P-plater, with a turbo?

How new? :D

My car is non turbo but is complied in japan as a turbo car so I have to do a turbo conversion before I can get it complied here as it has to be stock. So I guess I have a non turbo gtst.Doesn't worry me though cause I want to turbo it anyway.
