Where To Take A R33 For Changing Timing Belt?

just got the r33 gts-t.

i want to get the timing belt changed for a peace of mind...

i live close to the city in melb. Any good workshops that are reliable(that do not cost a bomb too)? Any quotes? i will get the belt from Nissan itself and pay for the labour

$400-450 + the belt is a rip off. Most places will do it for $350 including a genuine Nissan belt.

Give Ice Performance a call (just thought I'd beat everyone to saying that! )

Why pay performance shop prices to do basic servicing?

those prices are outragious. rb25's are pretty simple to work on

don't go to ice, just take it to any mechanic.

i paid japanese special vehicles 338 to do mine, i found out jorge at mr muffler in epping would have done it for 280 with genuine belt, and coolant. they do intercoolers and a lot of performance work

I paid around $250 for labour + around $90 for the Belt from Nissan.

cheaper the better anyway, ill have to get 1 done eventually!

I was just throwing the customary "Go to Ice" comment that always seems to pop up.

When I spoke to them, they quoted me the same as JSV and another place in Mitcham.

Shop around a bit, like they said, its not the most complex engine to work on.

I take my 33 to the boys at UPI in Moorabin. 9555 3611.
