Turbo Upgrade

Picked up a new Garrett T3 T04 turbo awhile ago on ebay for a reasonable price and was wondering if its worth while bolting it on to replace the stock factory one.

It has steel compressor and turbine wheels, not sure if its ball bearing, anyway to tell without opening it up? The info also said it was capable of 450hp, anyway you can tell the actual specs just by looking at it?

This will deflate you happy bubble , but those cheap turbos are NOT made by Garrett and are not any better than a poorly constructed/designed, china made, turbo.

Have heard many stories of those turbos blowing b4 rolling off the dyno.

You unfortunately get what you pay for
