Series Ii Aerial

just wanted to know whether or not the aerial goes all the way on series II r33s, when the car is on??

I presume you've flicked that switch just on the left of the steering column? It's a button switch. If it's on the bottom selection, the aerial only goes up half way.

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but it's not that obvious!

looks crappy i reckon having an aerial half way up when your listening to cds. however would it be possible to fit a series one aerial to make it go all the way down????

My S2 aerial defintely goes all the way down... sorry I must have mis-understood your problem

Does it go all the way down when the car is off ? I'm guessing no ?

When I play CD/Tape my aerial is completely down.

When I turn the car off, the antenna goes completely down (if it was up).

Only when I switch to radio does the antenna go up.

If you have an aftermarket headunit, depends on whether you have the power antenna output. If not, it will just be up if the headunit is on (regardless of CD/radio/etc).
