what do you think a set of rb25 rods cryo froze would be good for as there is not a lot of resources for me to just pick up a set of gtr rods. unless you know someone that want to contribute to save the rb25 foundation. thanks alot

i have a set...

only after $150 for them too.

i will post at buyers expense.

Guys, if anyone is interested, Eagle H-beam rods are now available for RB25's and RB26's. Eagles are a great rod, we've used them for years and not had one fail. These are a straight drop in and use ARP2000 3/8" bolts.

The best part is the price, $1150 a set, if people can organise to buy 3 sets between them they will be just under $1000 a set. Adam, I wasn't holding out on you about these, I only got the details this afternoon.

I have seen no evidence that cryoing used RB rods makes any difference. They are nitrided from the factory and they have been through so many heat cycles it is unlikely that they will have any stresses to relieve. The initial weakness in RB rods is the rod bolts, using ARP rod bolts would be the first thing I would do to improve RB rod durability.

:P cheers :)
