Roll Cages

Hi All,

Just need some advice from someone who already has a Cusco -Safety 21- 6 point cage installed in a 33 GTR. I have been trying to get some information as to whether or not you need to either take out the back seat or to cut the back seat when fitting a 6 point cage. Anyone know??

i have an 8 point in my gtst it can be fitted in mine without destroying backseats by pulling them aside on the edges...the foam may lose its shape however it can be done without cutting...

kinda off-topic but isn't it illegal to use the rear seats with a roll cage fitted anyway?

yeah my rear seats are in my gtr still, but its engineered for only a 2 seater thanks to having a cage.

I always had an opinion that if you dont plan or rolling your car then you dont need one....

But then 2 years ago in targa we rolled over.... LOL So i vouch for their usefullness...
