R34 Gtt Hi-flow Front/dump Pipe Issues (with Pics)

Hi everyone,

Any help again much appreciated.

I'm going with the advice I received here recently and going down the high-flow route. Turbo came off the car tonight, please see pics.

Current spec:

R34 GT-T manual

Intake - K&N-style pod thing

Turbo - stock, getting high-flowed next day or so (keeping stock housings)

Dump pipe - looks stock

Front pipe - Nismo "20020-RNR40" with a narrower section at the start

Cat - ?stock

Cat-back - 3" Blitz Nur Spec

Everything else - stock.

So as you can see my problem is still having a stock dump pipe and a narrower section at the top end of my front pipe (is this an issue?).

Question is, what are my options? Obviously need to go for a larger dump pipe and work my way around the front pipe issue if I have to as well.

I've searched the stickys at the top of the forum and the only suggestion seemed to be a custom option.

Any specific brands/models, or is custom the way to go? Plus, anyone in Brisbane (preferably Southside) who knows what they're talking about and you'd trust to be able to supply me with said bits this week?

Sorry for all the questions but if I can go in armed with knowledge from here plus what my mechanic tells me then I feel much better about the situation.

Hi, I had a custom split dump pipe system done by Exotic Exhausts at Sumner Park but staying with the stock turbo. They should be able to help you out.

i like the looks of that... piss off the entire current arrangement and bolt on one new bit. price is reasonable???

can't find the r34 split pipe on their website catalogue though.

Isn't the dump pipe stock but the front pipe aftermarket?!?!

Can't you just whack on a 3" dump?

If it's made for a 34 then it should match up fine.

I use a CES split dump they are in qld I think www.cesracing.com.au or something like that.

was good for stock turbo and now for GCG highflow.

with new turbo you need bigger fuel pump, new fuel regulator, best to get new injectors. 480cc nismo drop in easy. and a PFC to tune it all up. some say you need a z32 AFM some don't.
