Recommended Posts

The first 2 are some of my drawings that i just edited a bit, the other 2 are some my bro Brent made up after i showed him a few tricks, I think he did pretty damn good. Any one else come up with some cool backgrounds?

The last one is my logo

wow mick, that looks nice

how did u make the first two wallpapers?

did u vectorise it? add colours?

i know my photoshop stuff, but i want to learn your technique :)

Hey how is ya, I do all my stuff with adobe photo shop - with the car pics i got a photo and added a layer and then traced it with a pen and tablet (they cost around $130) then with the colours and back ground keep adding more layers. Keep the out line as the top layer.

eg. For Kezza's car

layer1: Background

layer2: The figure in the background

layer3: Colour of the car

layer4: Wheels

layer5: Stickers

Layer6: windows

layer7: The shine and reflections on the car

layer8: The outlines of the car

Hope this gives ya a better idea

With the straight lines you can use the airbrush click once where you want the line to begin and then hold the shift key and click where you want the line to end or go.

:P

thanks mate you gave me a good idea.

betcha that took a while to trace, sounds time consuming..

but nice overall effect, i love it.
