Deluxe Posted October 5, 2005 Share Posted October 5, 2005 So is that saying on my Dyno readout the Avg Nm is just over 420Nm as aposed to 470Nm peak, So the 470Nm is in 3rd and the 420Nm is in 5th gears? So why would you worry about what the tourque is in 5th? Cubes Posted October 5, 2005 Share Posted October 5, 2005 A better approach all round is look at the Average Power, or even better, the Integral of the Power, this is the all of the Power added together that is under the curve, and not be too concerned with Torque Numbers.
