Compliance Parts Help

Ey guys just purchased black series 2 gtst as you can see in my avatar.

Now the prob i have is that it has coil overs and i need to revert it to 'stock' suspension for compliance, so i have to find someone with stock suspension. If anyone can let me borrow theirs or 'rent', it would be greatly appreciated!!

please help me out.

May need a stock exhaust to.

your car looks good in your avatar. Congrats. I don't know if this will be much help to you, but I've heard that for SEVS compliance, if you can find a way to reach stock height with the coilovers then it will pass.. I can't confirm how true this is, maybe this was one incident of a workshop being leniant, but ring around and keep it in mind if worse comes to worse. Good luck with compliance.

i dun think that they have 2 be destroyed. i have a exhaust to suit a r32 gts-t if that will fit.

i thought you had to get the car delivered to your house or somewhere other than the compliance work shop first. remove your mods, replace with stock, then take it to compliance....otherwise they destroy your shit and probably charge to put stock gear in :S

well they are *supposed* to destroy your stuff... but I doubt many of them would... they would probably be putting there business on the line...

Ok.

Technically, they are "supposed" to destroy aftermarket parts, i.e exhausts etc, but how are the authorities going to find out if the car came standard or modified? So I doubt that any workshop would actually destroy the parts.

Now, in terms of standard parts, your compliance guy dude, should be able to help you out, when I got my 33 GTST (about 6 months ago, sold it 2 months ago) the workshop allowed me to "rent" their standard exhaust, airbox, rims with new tyres, I just had to pay this "rent" and also labour for removing and replacing the parts.

I'm pretty sure whoever does your compliance will know where you're coming from when you mention renting his parts etc.
