Track Day Nov 30

Hi Guys,

The last track day of the year is less than 2 months away. I have sent an email to all the people on my list. Anyone new who wants to come along for a drive please PM me your email address and I'll send you out the details.

Where: Qld Raceway

When: November 30

Time: 7:30am Gate

8:30am - 12:30pm On Track

Cost: $110

As always there are a maximum of 45 starters in 5 groups.

I'll be out there, as long as I can the car tuned etc before then

Thanks guys, yea I am trying 100% to be driving at this one. My car is slowly getting sorted out.

I am not 100% sure for this one. I usually sit out the hotter months, give the car a rest.....

Is that the 50 lapper endurance race on? Cause im sure i heard from someone that theres an endurance race on or is that at Morgan Park? Sometime during nov im positive.

No its not an endurance race. Just a sprint 1/2 day at Qld Raceway.

Hopefully its not too hot. I usually don't do anything Dec, Jan for the heat reasons.

I was having a look at the booking list for Track Day. So far there are 7 GTR's booked with the most powerful putting 400kw@wheels. There are quite a few GTS's as well. Should be a good Skyline turnout !!

If you went to the Jamboree it was the Blue GTR at one of the trade stands. It was tuned about a week or so ago.

I'll post up a running list soon. Just waiting for everyone to book in.

The heat should not be too bad. Thats why this is the last one until Feb sometime. It all depends on the weather. I always prefer a nice dry overcast day.

i am not going to be able to make it as i haven't had a chance yet to drop the sump and fit my baffles and last thing i want is to spin a bearing or something and need a rebuild.

Should be good to go though early next year after its cooled down a bit.

Yea a spun bearing is never good. I went down the Accusump path to stop that. A bit easier to install.

Its pretty nice piece of kit. I have one, and MacAttack runs one. I think there are some other guys on here as well.

is this for racing around the qld raceway track or drifting around the qld raceway track?

is there a special licence such as a cams licence required for this day as well?
