lol that's enough info to make the chinese factories pump out genuine looking ones...

but its a turbo timer... i mean... that's the cheapest thing apexi sells, why on earth would you buy a fake one instead?

I don't think it's the choice of buying a fake one but believing you are buying the real deal and paying the required amount for a lower in quality unit that doesn't really work.

More profit for the seller and the poor buying mite not even realise until he read that post.

yeah if you sell cheap things (ie. a turbo timer in relation to other apexi parts) people arent going to heavily analyse the product until theyve installed it, and by then its too late.

keep a look out, another reason to not buy car related products off the net.

I think it is fair to say that this is not a regular thing that happens.

People spend billions of dollars every day online and 99% of people will get their products without and hassles and save alot of money.

I have personally saved tens of thousands of dollars purchasing items for my cars online. Its a risk and a risk I am certainly willing to take.

It isnt just turbo timers they are getting everything copied now, one fake SAFC has turned up here in WA and it will get a lot worse.

If people rip you off on cheap bits how keen will they be to find fake Apexi bits and sell them on the forums and E-Bay.
