Electric Front Spoiler

Hello all.

This is my first post so please go easy on me. I have just brought a 1994 R33 skyline. Now next to the clock I have two buttons stating spoiler up and spoiler down. Does anyone else have this spoil thing in there car? Any info on the way it works? I think it is speed related.

Hmmm an R33 with an electric front spoiler....

Well on the R32's if none of the buttons were pressed, at 80km/hr it would drop the spoiler. Then once back down to below 60km/hr is would raise it again. Though if the down button was pressed (this was the only one that could stay pressed in) the spoiler would stay down all the time.

The main idea behind it was to aid in downforce. Though you needed it up when going in and out of driveways etc. If you have one in the R33, it is rare as. Other than that enjoy it.

Rare as?? Excellent. On mine the UP button stays in, so I guess the spoiler will stay up!!! Thanks for the info Packy!!!

I have never seen this feature on a R33 but they were reasonably common on R32's.

Some pictures in the down and up positions would be great.
